Aaron Cook had a strong outing as the Colorado Rockies defeated the
Philadelphia Phillies 3 to 1 at Coors Field.

Colorado did all of it's offensive work in the 6th inning as they scored 3
runs on 3 base hits. The highlight belonged to Brad Hawpe who came through
for the home fans when he lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 4th of the
season). Colorado and Philadelphia each finished the afternoon with 6 hits.

The winning pitcher was Cook(4-2) who allowed 1 run in 8 innings. Brian
Fuentes earned his 7th save. The loss was charged to Cole Hamels(2-1). He
surrendered 5 hits and 5 walks in 7 innings.
