Gil Meche completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Kansas City
Royals defeated the Texas Rangers 6 to 2 at Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring 4 runners
on 4 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Kansas City finished
with 9 hits in the victory.

The win went to Meche(2-1) who allowed 2 runs in the game. Scott Feldman(1-2)
was hit with the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
