Third baseman Carlos Guillen went deep and had 3 RBI as the Detroit Tigers
defeated the Kansas City Royals by a score of 6 to 5 at Comerica
Park.

Armando Galarraga(1-3) gave a fine effort for Detroit. He allowed 7 hits and
2 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings. For the game Detroit out-hit Kansas City 10 to
7.

Galarraga got help from Todd Jones who earned his 1st save. Kyle Davies(1-2)
ended up with the loss. He was knocked around by Detroit, allowing 9 hits
and 4 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
