Center fielder Melky Cabrera hit a grand slam as the Atlanta Braves came back
to win one over Pittsburgh Pirates, 10 to 6.

Atlanta scored the winning runs in the 9th inning as they scored 6 runs on 6
base hits. The key at-bat was by Cabrera who quieted the crowd when he
launched a Grand Slam homerun. Atlanta managed 13 hits in their victory.

Kris Medlen(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no
runs. Joel Hanrahan(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.

John DePanicis was not very talkative after his team's tough loss. 'I'm not
in the mood for questions, but I'm sure Bobby Cox will be glad to talk about
the game as long as you have questions to ask.'
