Matt Capps finished beautifully at Wrigley Field as the Washington Nationals
staged a comeback win over the Chicago (NL) Cubs by the count of 10 to
8.

Washington had the winning rally in the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs on
1 hit. Capps was great in relief and recorded his 4th save.

Joel Peralta(1-0) went 2 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Carlos
Marmol(0-1) took the loss in relief. Lee Michaels was very happy after the
game, 'It's great to come back and win it in your last at bats! Our guys just
wouldn't give up. And did you see the fans - one minute they're laughing and
screaming down all sorts of unprintable stuff at our guys - the next minute -
SILENCE! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win this afternoon!'
