Freddy Sanchez slammed 2 homeruns at AT&T Park where the San Francisco Giants
beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7 to 1.

Sanchez enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 4th
inning, lined a single in the 6th inning and cracked a solo homerun in the
8th inning. San Francisco ended up with 11 hits for the game while
Philadelphia had 6.

Tim Lincecum(1-1) went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Cole
Hamels(0-2) was hit with the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 7
and 1/3 innings of work.
