In a close game the seemingly unstoppable Milwaukee Brewers put 4 runs on the
scoreboard in the 8th inning and got by the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 5
to 3.

Milwaukee came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th
inning when they tallied 4 runs on 4 hits. The critical plate appearance was
by Jonathan Lucroy who made the Milwaukee fans a happy lot when he doubled
scoring two baserunners. Milwaukee had 12 hits overall, while Cincinnati had
6.

Jose Veras(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Jim Henderson
recorded the save, his 2nd. The losing pitcher was Johnny Cueto(2-2). His
ERA increased from 3.60 to 4.00 as he allowed 4 runs in 7 innings.

It was another victory for Milwaukee at Miller Park. Now their winning streak
stands at 7 games.
