The Philadelphia Phillies had an easy time of it at Citizen's Bank Park
defeating the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 7 to 2.

Robinson Tejeda(2-1) gave a fine effort for Philadelphia. He was reached for
7 hits and 5 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings lowering his ERA from 5.73 to 4.19.
For the game Philadelphia out-hit St. Louis 10 to 7.

Tejeda got relief help from Billy Wagner who gained credit for his 4th save.
Chris Carpenter(2-3) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 2 hits and 1
walk in 4 innings.

Philadelphia now has a record of 12-12. With the loss St. Louis now has a
record of 16-14.
