At Chase Field the Cincinnati Reds outscored the floundering Arizona club in
10 innings 5 to 2.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Cincinnati was
victorious in the 10th inning. Scott Rolen led off and started the rally
when he ripped a base-hit. After an out was recorded, Brandon Phillips came
to the plate and drew a walk. Ryan Hanigan then slapped a one-base hit. One
out later, Orlando Cabrera came up and he banged out a single. Neither team
was able to score until the 7th inning.

Aaron Harang(2-0) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Francisco Cordero got the save, his 6th. The loss was charged to Juan
Gutierrez(0-2) in relief.
