Jorge De La Rosa shut down the Pittsburgh batters on just 3 hits and catcher
Miguel Olivo had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Colorado Rockies topped the
reeling Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 5 to 0 at PNC Park.

De La Rosa(3-2) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Pittsburgh offense.
He allowed just 3 hits and no walks in 9 innings. De La Rosa chalked up 10
strikeouts. Colorado had 8 hits for the night.

Ross Ohlendorf(4-2) was the loser. He gave up 5 hits and 2 walks in 7
innings. John DePanicis was obviously impressed with the pitching of De La
Rosa, 'That guy made us look a little silly out there tonight. We just
couldn't get to him at all - everything was working for him. I just hope
that he got that kinda performance out of his system.'
