Bronson Arroyo had a strong outing as the Cincinnati Reds bested the Colorado
Rockies 5 to 1 at Great American Bpk.

Colorado was unable to climb back into it after Cincinnati went ahead for good
in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring one runner using 2 hits. The teams
had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.

Arroyo(3-5) allowed 1 run on the game. Rafael Betancourt(0-2) was the loser in
relief. George Nasser lamented, 'Arroyo was really aggressive today. He
kept coming after our hitters. Heck, why not. he kept sitting our guys down
one after another - like so many bowling pins!'
