TEAM RISP- Indians: 3 for 9 Astros: 2 for 10

Second baseman Jason Kipnis knocked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Cleveland
Indians outscored the Houston Astros 9 to 4.

Kipnis was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He doubled in the 1st inning, lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown' in the 3rd inning and lost the ball over the fence for
three runs in the 8th inning. Cleveland banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Bryan Shaw(2-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Kevin
Chapman(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. Cleveland scored big getting
3 runs off him in 2 innings.

'The ball was jumping off my bat' Kipnis said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
