Corey Kluber(2-0) and Bruce Chen(0-1) treated the Cleveland fans to a fine
pitching duel at Progressive Field. The Cleveland Indians eventually emerged
as victors over the Kansas City Royals by the score of 3 to 1.

Cleveland brought 2 runs across the plate in the 2nd inning when they had 3
base hits. That was all the offense they were to need. The pitchers took
over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.

Kluber got help from Joe Smith who earned his 1st save.
