The Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles locked up in an exciting one-run
game at Camden Yards.  The final score was the Minnesota Twins 3, the
Baltimore Orioles 2.
 
Minnesota started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first when they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits.  Glen Perkins was perfect
in relief and got the save, his 1st.  
 
Mike Pelfrey(1-0) went 6 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Jason
Hammel(0-1) was the loser.  He pitched 3 and 2/3 innings allowing 6 hits and
no walks.
