Adam Jones had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles won a dandy at
Camden Yards over the New York (AL) Yankees, 6 to 5.

Baltimore scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. After two
were out Nick Markakis drew a walk. Michael Aubrey next to the plate and he
doubled giving Baltimore the victory as 15,670 happy fans celebrated wildly.
This was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead changed hands 5
times.

The win was credited to George Sherrill(1-0) who went 1 inning allowing no
runs. Jose Veras(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 1
walk in 1 and 1/3 innings.
