Tommy Hanson dominated striking out 10 New York (NL) batters and first baseman
Freddie Freeman launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Atlanta Braves
defeated the New York (NL) Mets 4 to 1 at Citi Field.

Freeman enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He doubled which scored a run in the
1st inning, lined a base-hit in the 4th inning, smashed a bases-empty
'big-fly' in the 6th inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the
8th inning. Atlanta had 12 hits overall, while New York (NL) had 7.

Hanson(2-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Craig Kimbrel gained
credit for his 9th save. The losing pitcher was R.A. Dickey(2-3). He
surrendered 8 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings.

'He was really impressive today,' Dickey said of his counterpart. 'Our guys
were just swinging at air.'
