Tim Hudson(1-1) and Dillon Gee(0-3) treated the Atlanta fans to a fine
pitching duel at Turner Field. The Atlanta Braves eventually emerged as
victors over the New York (NL) Mets by the score of 1 to 0.

Hudson was very good in the win. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 4
hits and 1 walk in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 2.13 to 1.67. New York
(NL) threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

Craig Kimbrel recorded the save, his 10th. 'Some losses are harder to take
than others' Craig Lombardi lamented after the game. 'This was one of them.'
