The Milwaukee Brewers batters feasted on the Washington Nationals pitching at
Miller Park. The final score was a lop-sided 12 to 2.

Milwaukee jumped on top to stay in the bottom of the 2nd inning with 3 runs on
2 hits. Jonathan Lucroy led off and keyed the rally when he laced a one-base
hit. Prince Fielder came to the plate and drew a walk. Carlos Gomez then
tripled. One out later, Shaun Marcum stepped in and he worked the squeeze
play to perfection. Rickie Weeks struck out, unable to help the rally. That
was all the runs Marcum(3-1) needed. Milwaukee finished with 15 hits while
Washington ended up with 6.

John Lannan(2-2) absorbed the loss. Milwaukee knocked him around a bit, as he
gave up 6 runs in 3 innings.
