Jaime Garcia went yard and had 2 RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals topped the
Cincinnati Reds in 11 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Busch Stadium.

Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings. St. Louis won it in the
11th inning. After an out was recorded, Yadier Molina tripled. David Freese
got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Colby Rasmus then stroked
a single resulting in an exciting win for St. Louis and a wild post-game
celebration by the home town fans. Both teams totaled 10 hits on the
afternoon.

The victory went to Jason Motte(2-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. Sam
Lecure(0-2) was the loser in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 2 hits in 3
and 2/3 innings.
