Barry Zito tossed a fine 1 hitter and Fred Lewis had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as
the San Francisco Giants defeated the Florida Marlins by the score of 6 to 1
at AT&T Park.

San Francisco jumped on top to stay in the bottom of the 2nd inning plating an
isolated run. That early scoring was all that Zito(2-2) needed. San
Francisco had a total of 10 hits for the game.

Mark Hendrickson(0-1) was the loser. 'Zito just dominated us' losing pitcher
Hendrickson said. 'Hopefully we can get to him the next time around'
