Scott Olsen was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Florida Marlins topped the St. Louis Cardinals by a
score of 9 to 2 at Busch Stadium.

St. Louis never recovered after Florida took the lead in the top of the 2nd
inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Cody
Ross who silenced the stadium when he popped a two-run clout over the fence
(his 7th of the season). Florida simply wore out the St. Louis pitching
staff, scoring in 6 different innings.

The win was credited to Olsen(3-1) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Joel Pineiro(1-3) was the loser. He served up 3 homeruns in his 6 and 1/3
innings.
