Ben Sheets pitched 7 strong innings at Miller Park as the Milwaukee Brewers
won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the San Francisco Giants by the
count of 4 to 3.

Milwaukee came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
scoring 3 runs utilizing 3 base hits. After two outs Jason Kendall began the
rally when he doubled. Ray Durham next to the plate and he doubled. Rickie
Weeks then smashed a two-run homer (his 7th of the season). Milwaukee rapped
out 9 hits for the afternoon.

Salomon Torres(4-1) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Brian Wilson(0-3) was the loser in relief. Dale Sveum was in great spirits
in his post-game interview. Yet, when asked about his feelings after the
thrilling comeback victory, he volunteered, 'I'll tell you this much - I know
how my counterpart, Lee Michaels, feels right now - and it's not very good.
It's terrible when you come up on the short end of one of these!'
