Miguel Montero smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Dan Haren went 9 strong
innings as the Arizona team topped the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 8 to 0
at Miller Park.

The Milwaukee fans didn't appreciate the big day Montero had. He cracked a
two-run shot in the 1st inning, blasted a solo shot in the 3rd inning and
laced a one-base hit in the 7th inning. Arizona had 12 hits for the
afternoon.

Haren(2-1) went the distance for the shutout. David Bush(1-1) was charged with
the loss. He surrendered 4 hits and no walks in 2/3 of an inning.

'Haren took our guys to school' Andy Virostek said. 'Too bad he doesn't pitch
for us - it would make my job a whole lot easier!'
