Third baseman Casey McGehee slammed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Citi Field as
the Milwaukee Brewers belted the New York (NL) Mets by the count of 19 to
7.

McGehee really lit it up for Milwaukee. The New York (NL) fans let him have
it for what he did to their boys. He delivered a single in the 1st inning,
rifled a three-run blast in the 2nd inning, lined a base-hit in the 5th
inning and popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 6th inning.
Milwaukee lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning with 5 runs on 4 hits and
the 6th inning when they had 5 runs on 4 hits. Milwaukee ended up with 19
hits for the game while New York (NL) had 11.

The victory was credited to Todd Coffey(1-0) who went 4 innings, allowing no
runs. The losing pitcher was Mike Pelfrey(1-2). With this win, Milwaukee has
a 6-7 record. They have been 5-5 lately. With the loss New York (NL) now
has a record of 9-9.
