At Busch Stadium, the St. Louis fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Jason
Marquis(1-1) finally bested his St. Louis opposite, Adam Wainwright(1-2), by
the score of 3 to 0.

Colorado tallied 2 runs in the top of the 4th inning when they had 3 base
hits. They would be enough to earn the win. St. Louis was retired without
difficulty in the bottom of the 9th.

Josh Fogg recorded the save, his 1st. Wainwright absorbed the loss. He
surrendered 6 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings.
