TEAM RISP- Marlins: 3 for 9 Braves: 1 for 12

Right fielder Giancarlo Stanton knocked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Turner
Field as the Miami Marlins beat the Atlanta Braves by the count of 6 to
3.

Stanton led the offense for Miami. He ripped a single resulting in a run in
the 1st inning, lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 7th inning and clubbed
a two-run home run in the 9th inning. Atlanta was out-hit by Miami, 13 hits
to 9.

The win went to Ryan Webb(1-2) who allowed no runs in 1/3 of an inning. Webb
got help from Wade Leblanc who was credited with his 1st save. Cristhian
Martinez(0-3) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 3 runs in 2 and
2/3 innings of work.

'I've spent a lot of time in the cage and made some adjustments and they've
paid off,' Stanton said. 'I just take the same approach up there. I don't
overanalyze it. I go up there, see the ball and try to put a good swing on
it.'
