The Philadelphia Phillies edged the New York (NL) Mets in 11 innings at
Citizens Bank Park by the score of 8 to 7.

The game was deadlocked at 7 after nine full innings. Philadelphia won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning. Domonic Brown ripped a solo home run
giving Philadelphia the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy.
This was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead changed hands 5
times.

Kyle Kendrick(3-1) got the win allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings. Frank
Francisco(0-2) took the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered
1 hit and no walks.
