Ryan Ludwick knocked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Great American Bpk as the
streaking Cincinnati Reds won in their last at-bat beating the Milwaukee
Brewers by the count of 3 to 1.
Cincinnati won the game with a rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
base hits. Jay Bruce led off and he stroked a single. Ludwick followed and
he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run making Cincinnati the
winners and sending the 42,302 fans home happy. Cincinnati finished with 8
hits while Milwaukee ended up with 5.
Sam Lecure(4-0) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win. John
Axford(2-3) took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1 hit without
retiring a batter.
