Shortstop Zack Cozart had 2 base hits as the Cincinnati Reds won a
heart-stopping victory over the San Francisco Giants, 6 to 5.

The deciding run was scored by Cincinnati in the bottom of the 9th. Ryan
Ludwick drew a walk. Drew Stubbs stepped up to the plate and he ripped a
single. Johnny Cueto then slapped a one-base hit to load the bases. Cozart
dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. Ryan Hanigan came up to
bat and drew a walk giving Cincinnati the win and sending the home town fans
into a frenzy. San Francisco out-hit Cincinnati 12 to 8, but Cincinnati
ended up with more runs.

The winning pitcher was Sam Lecure(3-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. The
losing pitcher was Jeremy Affeldt(0-1) in relief. He surrendered 2 hits and
2 walks in 2/3 of an inning.
