Asdrubal Cabrera homered and had 3 RBI as the Cleveland Indians defeated the
Chicago (AL) Whitesox 9 to 4 at US Cellular Field.
 
Cleveland started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first when they tallied 3 runs on 2 hits.  The key offensive moment was
provided by Cabrera who deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he
blasted a two-run home run.  Chicago (AL) was out-hit by Cleveland, 11 hits
to 8.  
 
Zach McAllister(2-1) got the win allowing 4 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
Francisco Liriano(2-4) was hit with the loss.  He was knocked around by
Cleveland, allowing 10 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
