Billy Butler went deep and had 3 RBI at Target Field where the Kansas City
Royals beat the Minnesota Twins 10 to 6.
 
Butler provided the offensive punch.  He banged out a single scoring a run in
the 1st inning, doubled in the 3rd inning and clubbed a solo home run in the
9th inning.  Both teams ended up with 14 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Tim Collins(1-0) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Anthony
Swarzak(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief.  He gave up 3 hits and 1 walk
in 1 inning.
