Josh Donaldson hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI at O.co Coliseum as the Oakland A's
beat the New York (AL) Yankees 5 to 1.
 
Oakland had 3 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning with the
help of 4 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Donaldson who made the
crowd come alive when he doubled bringing in two baserunners.  Oakland had 11
hits overall, while New York (AL) had 6.  
 
The victory was credited to Bartolo Colon(2-1) who went 6 innings, allowing 1
run. Ivan Nova(0-1) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in
6 innings.
