Chris Davis cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Camden Yards where the
Baltimore Orioles beat the New York (AL) Yankees by the score of 9 to
6.
 
Davis helped send the fans home happy.  He blasted a solo shot in the 7th
inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 8th inning.  New York (AL)
threatened in the 9th but Baltimore was able to put down the rally.  
 
Jim Johnson(1-0) allowed 2 runs in 1 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Troy Patton got the save, his 1st.  Cody Eppley(0-1) was tagged with
the loss in relief.
