It was a great finish at Rangers Ballpark as the Texas Rangers pulled off a
dramatic comeback beating the Minnesota Twins by the count of 3 to 2.

Texas came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
plating 2 runs on 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, A.J. Pierzynski
keyed the rally when he hit a single. Alex Rios came next and he cleared the
fences for a two-run home run making Texas the winners and sending the 44,014
fans home happy. Texas banged out 8 hits on the afternoon.

Neal Cotts(2-0) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Glen
Perkins(1-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Chris Centorcelli was
ebullient after the game, 'It's great to win a hard fought game like that.
Our guys just weren't going to be denied. And did you see the fans - they
were going wild! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win this afternoon!'
