Rays bested the New York (AL) Yankees 8 to 2 at Yankee Stadium.

Tampa Bay had 4 runs cross the plate in the top of the 5th inning when they
had 3 base hits. The biggest moment was provided by Yunel Escobar who
deflated the crowd as he launched a Grand Slam homerun. Tampa Bay managed 12
hits in their victory.

The win was credited to Price(1-3) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
C.C. Sabathia(2-6) was the losing pitcher. He got hit hard, allowing 8 hits
and 3 walks in 5 innings.

'We didn't have a whole lot of chances today,' Kimon Michaels said. 'Price
just was too much for our guys.'
