Baltimore had the winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 3 hits.
Chris Davis led off and got things going when he lined a single. Mark
Reynolds followed and he doubled. Matt Wieters was next to the plate, but
was promptly struck out. Ryan Flaherty followed next and he hit a sacrifice
fly. Hardy came to the plate and stroked a one-base hit. Hardy took second
on the throw. Alexi Ogando then was wild with a pitch. Baltimore and Texas
each finished the afternoon with 12 hits.

Darren O'Day(1-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 2 innings. O'Day got relief
help from Jim Johnson who gained credit for his 4th save. The losing pitcher
was Ogando(1-1) in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 4 hits in 1 and 2/3
