Felix Hernandez completed the game without help from the bullpen and Ichiro
Suzuki had 4 hits as the Seattle Mariners beat the Houston Astros by a score
of 4 to 1.
 
Houston never recovered after Seattle took the lead in the top of the 4th
inning plating an isolated run on 3 base hits.  Franklin Gutierrez lined a
base-hit.  Kyle Seager stepped into the batter's box and he slapped a single.
Jesus Montero then laced a base-knock.  Dustin Ackley was a strikeout
victim, unable to help out.  Casper Wells followed, but he was set down on
strikes.  Seattle had a total of 11 hits for the game.  
 
Hernandez(2-1), allowing 1 run for the game, picked up the victory. The loss
was charged to J.A. Happ(0-1).  He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings giving up 9 hits
and 1 walk.
