Denard Span had 2 base hits and 3 RBI at Progressive Field where the Minnesota
Twins beat the Cleveland Indians 13 to 5.
 
Cleveland never recovered after Minnesota took the lead in the 4th inning
plating one baserunner utilizing 3 base hits.  Minnesota simply wore out the
Cleveland pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.  
 
Francisco Liriano(2-2) went 5 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Justin
Masterson(1-2) ended up with the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 11 hits and 5 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
