The Milwaukee Brewers got by the Pittsburgh Pirates at Miller Park. The final
score was 3 to 1.

Milwaukee had the game winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs using 3
hits. After an out was recorded, Jean Segura got things rolling when he
laced a single. Mark Melancon then threw a wild pitch. Ryan Braun then
stroked a base-hit plating a run. Braun took second on the throw. Aramis
Ramirez was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Yuniesky Betancourt
came up to bat and smacked a single. Melancon then let one get away for a
wild pitch scoring the final run of the inning. Milwaukee rapped out 7 hits
for the afternoon.

Brandon Kintzler(2-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 and 2/3 innings
and allowing no runs. Kintzler got help from Burke Badenhop who was credited
with his 2nd save. Melancon(5-1) absorbed the loss in relief.
