Anthony Rizzo slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at Wrigley Field where the
Chicago (NL) Cubs beat the San Diego Padres 11 to 5.
 
Chicago (NL) took the lead for keeps in the bottom of the 4th inning when they
tallied 2 runs on 1 hit.  The big moment was provided by Nate Schierholtz who
made the Chicago (NL) fans a happy lot when he lifted one out of the park for
a two run home run.  Chicago (NL) totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  
 
James Russell(2-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. The losing pitcher was Andrew Cashner(1-3).  He was touched for 10
hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
