Caleb Gindl had 2 base hits at Miller Park as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the
San Diego Padres in 11 innings by the count of 2 to 1.
 
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings.  Milwaukee won it in the
11th inning.  Scooter Gennett lined a single.  After an out was recorded,
Gindl came to bat and tripled resulting in an exciting win for Milwaukee and
a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Milwaukee finished
with 9 hits while San Diego ended up with 4.  
 
Rob Wooten(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Tim Stauffer(0-1)
was hit with the loss in relief.  He allowed 3 hits and 1 walk in 1 and 1/3
innings.
