Cliff Lee had an impressive outing as the Cleveland Indians defeated the
Minnesota Twins by the score of 1 to 0 at Progressive Field.

Cleveland jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring a single
run. Jamey Carroll doubled. After an out was recorded, Shin-Soo Choo came
to bat and would ground out. That early scoring held up. Minnesota made it
exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.

Lee(3-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 5 innings. Kerry Wood
preserved the game for Lee, recording his his 4th. Scott Baker(3-1) took the
loss. He surrendered only 1 run and 4 hits in 6 and 1/3 innings.
