Shortstop Adam Everett had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Justin Verlander had a
complete game at Comerica Park where the Detroit Tigers beat the Toronto
Bluejays by the score of 4 to 2.

Verlander(2-2) earned his pay with a solid performance for Detroit. He
allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. Detroit banged out 12 hits on the
afternoon.

Brian Tallet(0-2) ended up with the loss. He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 10 hits and 8 walks in 6 innings.
