The San Diego Padres got by the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
The final score was 3 to 1.

San Diego had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning with 2 runs using
4 hits. Aaron Cunningham led off the inning for San Diego when he lashed a
single. Cunningham was safe at second on a stolen base. Nick Hundley
followed, but he was set down on strikes. Adrian Gonzalez was up next and he
stroked a one-base hit. Chase Headley came to the plate and stroked a
base-hit. David Eckstein was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out.
Ryan Ludwick next to the plate and he laced a base-hit. San Diego had 8
hits for the afternoon.

Luke Gregerson(1-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Mike
Adams recorded the save, his 1st. Ramon Troncoso(0-1) was given the loss in
relief.

With this win, San Diego has a 8-7 record. They have been 5-5 lately. Los
Angeles(NL) continued their losing ways and their record is now 3-13, worst
in the division. They are 2-8 in their last ten games.
