In a dramatic ending the Washington Nationals staged a comeback and held on to
win over the Milwaukee Brewers by the count of 6 to 5.

Washington scored the winning runs in the 9th inning plating 2 runs using 2
hits. Nyjer Morgan led off and started the rally when he ripped a single.
Ian Desmond next to the plate and he laid down a sacrifice bunt. Ryan
Zimmerman then drew a walk. Adam Dunn was up next and he drew a walk to load
the bases. Josh Willingham got his chance to keep things going, but he went
down on strikes. Ivan Rodriguez extended the rally and laced a base-knock.
Rodriguez took second on the throw. The Milwaukee batters went down meekly
in the bottom of the 9th.

Tyler Clippard(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. Matt
Capps preserved the game for Clippard, recording his his 7th. The losing
pitcher was John Axford(1-2) in relief. He surrendered 2 hits and 3 walks in
2 and 1/3 innings.

'Lee Michaels was estatic following the game, 'You love stealing one on the
road like this. We just kept plugging away until we pulled it out!'
