Manny Ramirez blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Chad Billingsley tossed a
complete game at Dodger Stadium where the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers beat the
St. Louis Cardinals 9 to 2.

Ramirez enjoyed a big day at the plate. He smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 1st inning, banged out a single in the 4th inning and lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown' in the 5th inning. Los Angeles(NL) managed 13 hits in
their victory.

The victory was credited to Billingsley(2-1) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Chris Carpenter(2-2) was the loser. He allowed 5 homeruns in 7 innings
of work.
