Matt Albers had a strong outing as the Boston Redsox topped the Baltimore
Orioles by a score of 8 to 3 at Fenway Park.
 
John Lackey(1-0) pitched well enough to earn the win.  He surrendered 4 hits
and no walks in 5 innings and allowed 2 gopher balls dropping his ERA from
6.00 to 4.50.  Baltimore was out-hit by Boston, 16 hits to 4.  
 
Albers gained credit for his 1st save.  Chris Tillman(0-1) was the loser.  He
allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
 
The Boston ballclub's record now stands at 11-10.  With the loss, Baltimore
has a record of 7-3 lately, 12-11 overall.
