Josh Willingham went deep and had 2 RBI at O.co Coliseum where the Oakland A's
beat the Kansas City Royals in 10 innings by the score of 4 to 3.
 
Both teams had scored 3 runs after nine full innings.  Finally, Oakland
prevailed in the 10th inning.  Cliff Pennington drew a walk.  Jemile Weeks
next to the plate and he lined a single.  Coco Crisp then ripped a one-base
hit making Oakland the victors to the delight of the home town faithful.
Although they lost, Kansas City did out-hit Oakland 10 to 7.  
 
The win was credited to Brian Fuentes(1-0) who went 3 innings allowing no
runs. Tim Collins(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.  He pitched 2 and 1/3
innings giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.
