In a dramatic ending at Fenway Park the Boston Redsox won in their last at-bat
beating the Chicago (AL) Whitesox by the count of 4 to 3.
 
The game was won by Boston when they scored a run in the 9th inning.  David
Ortiz blasted a solo shot making Boston victorious to the delight of the the
home town crowd.  Boston and Chicago (AL) each finished the afternoon with 12
hits.  
 
The win was credited to Alfredo Aceves(1-1) who went 2 innings allowing no
runs. Chris Sale(0-3) took the loss in relief.  The Boston ballclub's record
now stands at 9-8.  Chicago (AL) can't seem to snap out of their recent
'funk'.  Now they have a miserable 2-8 record over the last couple weeks.
