David Price whiffed 14 batters and Desmond Jennings hit one over the fence and
had 2 RBI as the Tampa Bay Rays won in dramatic fashion over the New York
(AL) Yankees by a score of 9 to 8 at Yankee Stadium.
 
Price(3-1) pitched a solid game.  He went 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 9 hits
and 2 walks.  Tampa Bay managed 10 hits in their victory.  
 
Price got relief help from Kyle Farnsworth who gained credit for his 4th save.
Freddy Garcia(0-3) was the losing pitcher.  Price, when asked about his 14
strikeout performance noted, 'The important thing is that we won, if I get 20
and we lose, what good does it do our team? But, on the other hand, since we
won it feels great!'
